Tips for a clean white background
- Soften the edge by 1 px in Subject → Edge so hair does not look cut with scissors.
- A contact shadow at about 40% keeps a product from floating.
- Choose 1:1 in Frame for a square avatar and 4:5 for a portrait that fills a phone screen.
- Photos taken against a light wall cut out most cleanly; harsh shadows behind the subject are the hardest part.

Is the white pure #FFFFFF?
Yes. The backdrop is exactly RGB 255, 255, 255, so it blends into white web pages and documents without a visible box.
Which format should I download?
JPG: a white background needs no transparency, and JPG files are the smallest and accepted everywhere. This page selects JPG for you.
Can I make the photo square?
Open Frame and choose 1:1. The subject is fitted to the square; the Size slider and dragging fine-tune it.
Can I add a shadow so it does not look flat?
Yes. In Subject, pick Contact for a soft shadow on the ground or Drop for a shadow cast behind and to the side.
